Exchange

In this research exchange plan, the following program will be executed for the purpose of the education of young researchers.

(1) A one-month resident program for doctor course students/post-doctoral fellows
Applications will be received for the one-month resident program at the laboratories of core institute, cooperative institute, or cooperative researcher in USA or UK from the doctor course students/post-doctoral fellows in Japan belonging to the Corporation for the Promotion of Research and Education of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Kyushu and others, and selected on transparent and fair basis. The selected young researchers will be supported with air travel to and from and living expense for one month by JSPS core-to-core program. The fellowship period can be extended if the living expense for the extension period will be supported by the host institute.

(2) Seminar for young researchers
For the benefit of young researchers, who are expected to become the leaders of next generation in the field of in vivo magnetic resonance research in the world, the following seminar will be organized by some of young researchers. The purpose of these seminars is to enhance the quality of in vivo redox research of both the participants and organizers by mutual close exchange of ideas with each other.

November, 2007 Winter School Washington D.C., USA
Date :November 12th, 2007 before SFRBM (Nov.14-18)
Time : 2:00 pm
Place:Conference room (Building 10 Room 11S235) in National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland, USA
In the Winter School, postdoctoral fellows, who were obtained Ph.D. degree in Kyushu University and are now studying at the laboratory of Dr. Murali C. Krishna, are planning to hold the seminar for young researchers. This meeting will give you great opportunity which you can freely discuss with world-famous scientists about your research and make the network within young researchers.
